It is definitely possible to add/change events while offline, and it will sync up to the server the next time you go online. It’s been working flawlessly for me so far…

Thanks for this information, as i’m still in doubt if i’ll buy a simple nano or an itouch. Syncing and working with Google Calender is my main concern. Is it possible to insert or change events when the itouch is offline?
