Commenting Policy
Occasional Drivel Commenting Policy
Comments on the articles on this site are not only welcome, they are encouraged. We want this to be a two way street where we can all learn from each other and enjoy a strong and vibrant community.
The following simple set rules are implicitly understood by the vast majority of the visitors to the site without needing to be reminded; however, we occasionally see people who choose to follow a different path in life:
- We reserve the right to remove any comments that we deem to be unfit for public presentation.
- Swearing, offensive language, flaming, or derogatory comments will not be tolerated.
- Spam will not be tolerated and may be reported to the appropriate agencies.
- Solicitors and others posting advertisements are considered to be spammers. Spam will not be tolerated.
- Providing information about interesting sites that are relevant to the discussion is perfectly fine (even if it’s your own site). Most people understand the difference between that and spam.
