Occasional Drivel Commenting Policy

Comments on the articles on this site are not only welcome, they are encouraged. We want this to be a two way street where we can all learn from each other and enjoy a strong and vibrant community.

The following simple set rules are implicitly understood by the vast majority of the visitors to the site without needing to be reminded; however, we occasionally see people who choose to follow a different path in life:

1. We reserve the right to remove any comments that we deem to be unfit for public presentation.
2. Swearing, offensive language, flaming, or derogatory comments will not be tolerated.
3. Spam will not be tolerated and may be reported to the appropriate agencies.
4. Solicitors and others posting advertisements are considered to be spammers. Spam will not be tolerated.
5. Providing information about interesting sites that are relevant to the discussion is perfectly fine (even if it’s your own site). Most people understand the difference between that and spam.
