  If you fake your entire career online, you're going to get caught. This article about a photographer who stole images from other photographers, including reposting images from entire weddings and claimed them as her own, recently found that out in a hurry.

  Photographers need to be awesome to stand out. So do other service providers. It's not that hard, but you have to plan for it. You have to want to be awesome…
• Creative Collision: Branding is Everything
  You are your brand. You must own that. If your clients don't appreciate your brand, how can they see themselves in the photography that you might provide for them?
• Behind the scenes / Making of a QR code
  This photographer deserves a medal for the patience he displayed in creating his print promo piece. It's pretty incredible the lengths he went to to make something tactile for his promo piece. Of course he could have achieved the same look with about 5 minutes in Photoshop, but it's still pretty cool to see what he created.

• How to Use LinkedIn Powerfully: 10 Tips to Know
  Post a picture. Please. Of your face. You should have a professional looking headshot as your LinkedIn photo so people can put a name to a face. If you’re uncomfortable with recruiters or prospective clients seeing your picture next to your professional credentials (a valid concern), you can change your privacy settings so only your connections can see your photo.
• Reference of Dimensions for Facebook Timeline For Pages [Infographic]
  With the recent upgrade for Facebook Pages to Timeline all of the image dimensions visible to users has changed. This is a great reference to show you exactly what size photographers need to make each image for best possible display on Facebook.
• Updated Pinterest Terms – Oh, How Pinteresting!
  Pinterest has taken the interwebs by storm because it's pretty. But the debate has raged over whether Pinterest is good or really bad for photographers. This update to their TOS should help with that.
• Photoshelter publish service for Adobe Lightroom | photoshelter-publish-service | pact software
  Photoshelter is great for photographers. Being able to publish directly from Lightroom into Photoshelter is even better. This plugin does that. Get it.

  There are a few hidden gems in Lightroom 4 that are really cool, but that nobody knows about. I particularly like how much easier it is for photographers to create and duplicate collections.

  It was a crazy short beta period, but the final version of Lightroom 4 is here! And only $79 for the upgrade or $149 for the full version. Awesome.
• Pay what you think it’s worth for your Wedding Photographer
  I think this is a crazy photography experiment, but who knows, it might just work for her. It could be awesome with the right wedding clients, so it totally depends on how well she screens her list.
